found pit bull_11_16_0911/16/09: Found this older brindle male pit bull in a drainage ditch south of Hoagland and east of Valley Drive, near Mayfield High school, about 9:30 a.m. on Monday, November 16.  The dog could not get out of the ditch by himself and my daughter picked him up to carry him up to the bank of the ditch and then took him to her home with her own dog, whom she was walking at the time.  He is old and feeble, and I took him to have his nails trimmed, which he tolerated very well.  He is at their home now but they cannot keep him.  He had a very old, frayed khaki collar on with a large clip attached, so he may have been an outdoor dog chained up outside.  We would love to find his owners.  I can be contacted on my cell phone, at 575-644-1152. Janet.

12/2/09: Found Male Chihuahua in Mesilla are on Wednesday, December 2nd.  Call to identify and claim 575-621-4032.
