JuJuBe has recently been pulled from the Hobbs Animal Shelter and is living in foster care.

KiMo
Meet KiMo.... He's about 4-6 years old and weighs about 45 pounds. He is a mixture of Shar Pei and Staffordshire Bull Terrier. He has Shar Pei hair and wrinkles on his face but he has the body of a Staffordshire Bull Terrier. He is a REAL sweetheart and deserves so much more than the life he was currently living which included wearing a seat belt as a collar, which had cut into his neck, being covered with ticks, and just not being loved the way he deserves. He is currently being fostered by Shar Pei Rescue of New Mexico. Do you think you can love him the way he is prepared to love you? He is a real lover of people. He can not go to a home with cats or livestock. He is still being assessed on his temperament with other dogs. He is neutered, vaccinated, and possibly microchipped (if adopted in the Hobbs area).

Lenny
Lenny is among a litter of pit bull pups born on Dec. 28, 2008. The caretaker of these pups relinquished them to DDB, when four of them died with Parvo. The remaining four were taken to Hobbs Animal Clinic to receive treatment. Three survived. Lenny is white with two brown patches over his eyes. He has a little bit of food aggression but it is solved when you separate him from his siblings and give him his own bowl.
Lennon 'Lenny' is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and neutered.

Georgia... Georgia... was found abandoned out in the country. She is an Australian Shepherd Mix with unique coloring; brown patches on her ears and silver patches on her back. Georgia is looking for a loving home.
She is approximately 9-11weeks old, learning proper manners but is still a puppy and sometimes forgets.

DEAF pit bull terrier looking for someone willing to teach outside of the box
Meet Vanity... A 6 month old DEAF American Pit bull Terrier. She is being re-homed due to a son that went off to college and she keeps digging out of the yard. She just needs a home that is willing to make her apart of a family and teach her things without using the same way that hearing dogs learn. Just because she is deaf, does not mean she is stupid!

 Boss
Boss is an 8 year old neutered male Pit bull terrier. He is black and white.
Boss is doing extremely well in a shelter environment and is learning a bit about being on a leash. He does have some dog issues, but no resource guarding. It is unknown about how he gets along with children. He's been taken out to a very large area in which he can run and explore, twice a day. He is very good with adults. Boss will do well if placed in a home with no other pets and perhaps, no young children. He would need to become an inside dogs since if he's left alone in a yard, may try to escape out of old habits. He likes toys and is clickr trained which he learned quickly.
He tested heartworm negative and he is up to date on all his vaccinations, and neutered as of two years ago.

This poor pup has had a rough life up until now, but he’s still the sweetest, happiest dog you could ever want to meet. When he came in, he had no use of his right hind leg due to an old fracture, and he also had heartworms. His personality was just one in a million, so the staff here at the Animal Service Center of the Mesilla Valley took him under our wing, giving him some much needed medical care, which included treatment for the heartworms and the removal of the injured leg. He had a leisurely recovery in foster care with one of our staff members, and he’s now up in the front office on the Adoption side, greeting all that come through the doors and awaiting his new forever home.
