Bowling for Fur-Balls

Dem Animal Guard_05-11-17_4x5.inddDAG, Deming Animal Guardians  first fundraising BOWLING TOURNAMENT to benefit their Spay/Neuter program is set for Saturday, May 13th, at Starmax.

The tournament will feature nine-pin no-tap for the men and eight-pin no-tap for  women.
Nine-pin and eight-pin games mean if the player’s first throw knocks over nine or eight pins – men and women players, respectively – then it is counted as a strike!! That means you do not have to know how to bowl to have fun.
Each team should include four players at a registration fee of $25 per player.
Teams can be mixed with no set number of men or women.

Deming Animal Guardians organizers challenge the community to participate in the bowling tournament for “Big-Dog Status”, based on overall score.
Registration will begin at 8 a.m Saturday, May 13th
Please stop by the Bowling Desk at Starmax or contact Debbie Troyer, 530-306-0097 by phone or text to sign up.
This tournament is open to all members of the public, not just dog/cat lovers and bowling pro’s!
Warmup begins at 9 a.m., with the tournament beginning at 9:15 AM.  A later session will begin at 1 PM.
First, second and third place trophies and prizes will be presented at the end of the event along with the winner of the 50/50 raffle. Baked goods, DJ Jena and other surprises are in store. We hope to see you there!
Starmax is located at 333 North Country Club Road.
Your participation helps us attend to the high population of indigent pet owners, we target low-income pet owners only and support the Columbus Animal Rescue and the new no-kill shelter, DAGSHIP Rescue!
Our goal is to reduce the number of euthanasias at the local shelter by making responsible pet ownership a reality for low income pet owners.
